    Description

    Looking for a home is a HAND CARVED AND HAND PAINTED HEIRLOOM ORIGINAL .  I have been carving  as a hobby for over 20 years and have my pieces in private collections all over the United States and abroad!!..  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy carving them.  This is NOT a reproduction, resin  or carved from a rough out .I DRAW AND HAND CARVE EACH PIECE FROM SCRATCH!!!!!!!.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           THIS  TRULY  ONE OF A KIND  Amish girl    is 12" tall ;  3 1/2" wide   and 4 "  thick .. It is carved in basswood,
    finished in acrylic paints then sealed and antique glazed to protect the surface and give the piece depth and shadows then brushed with a matte solution to protect surface.. Girl is wearing a midnight blue gown with matching bonnet while holding a doll. It is signed. D. S.
