This bust sculpture depicts one of the most famous individuals in our lifetime, Barack Obama. Barack Obama is the 44th and current President of the United States, and the first African American to hold the office. He was a member of the Illinois Senate from 1997-2004, and then a United States Senator from 2005-2008 when he resigned to become the next President. Though the impact of his term on our century is still yet to be determined, his rise to the Presidency has changed the history books. This sculpture is an excellent piece to own for anyone with an interest in American history. Item is signed and numbered by artist Marius.
