This is a wondrously detailed sculpture of a Basset hound dog bust. He sits upright and he waits patiently for his owners return. He is loyal and loving and will wait a lifetime if need be. His face is sculpted in a way that defines his facial  muscles; although he is well fed his breed is lean and healthy. His eyes are filled with longing but his face can seem intimidating to those he may smell as a threat. He is proud of the life he has lived and to be the dog of such a loving owner. This sculpture is handmade and 100% bronze that sits on a solid brown marble base. It is cast using the ?Lost Wax Method? and has a two toned brown patina  and is signed by artist
