    Description

    This auction is for an exceptionally cool and oversized John Perry Sculpture. This sculpture includes a multicolored Sail Boat, Blue Water, and 2 Dolphins on Driftwood circa 1970s.
    Originally from California, John Perry has cultivated a worldwide fan base.
    Overall size of entire piece is 19" long by 6-7" deep by 21" high.
    Sailboat alone is 14: tall by 11.5" wide
    Sailboat is sitting on blue water which is a rare find (most other similar pieces have white water).
    Sailboat easily detaches from log and will ship as two pieces in the same box.
    The wood portion of this piece is very heavy but I will work with you to keep shipping as reasonable as possible.
    In excellent condition with only one tiny brown stain on the back of one of the sails.
    In 1973 John Perry founded the Studio with the concept of applying the very latest materials and molding techniques to the reproduction of his sculptures in order to make it as broadly accessible as possible.
    He developed "Pellucida", a compounds of resins that can be presented in a variety of forms, the frosted white version resembling bisque porcelain.
